Unitarian Universalist Principles
Through the Religious Education curriculum, we try to translate the seven Unitarian Universalist principles into a structure for daily life. In our classrooms, we encourage children to learn and to incorporate these principles into their thoughts and actions. Each class creates a covenant for the group based on these principles:
|
- Each and every person is important.
- All people should be treated fairly and kindly.
- We should encourage one another and learn together.
- Each person must be free to search for what is true
and right in life.
- All persons should have a voice about what affects them.
- We work together for a peaceful, fair and free world.
- We care for our planet earth, which we share with all living things.
