Sunday Morning RE Schedule An important part of the religious development of our young people is the experience of being together with others in the church community at a special time and place for worship. The worship service in the Sanctuary begins at 10:30 on Sunday mornings. The RE schedule is as follows: Children in the Nursery (ages 1-23 months), Early Preschool (ages 2 and 3), and PreK/Kindergarten (ages 4 and 5) go directly to their classrooms after 10:25 a.m. Classes begin at 10:30 a.m. Children in grades 1-6 join their families in the sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. for the first portion of the service, and then are dismissed to their teachers and classrooms. On "Special Sundays", children in grades 1-6 begin with their families in the Sanctuary, and then are dismissed to attend a special activity rather than their usual classes. These activities are often scheduled on holiday weekends. On the first Sunday of each month (unless otherwise noted on the RE calendar), children in grades 1-6 go directly to their classrooms at 10:30 a.m. to meet their teachers and then participate in a special Childrenšs Worship service. After this, they attend regular classes. Youth in grades 9 and up attend services in the Sanctuary. For Intergenerational Services, all children are welcome in the Sanctuary. Childcare is available in the nursery. All classes end at 11:30 a.m. Parents can pick up their children after the worship service and on the way to coffee hour.
