    Worship and Fellowship

We schedule several special events for worship and fellowship throughout the year:

Intergenerational Services. Each year, UUAC holds several intergenerational services in the Sanctuary. Children and their families attend and often participate in these special services. For example, our Intergenerational Winter service is created by the RE Committee and requires the active involvement of children and adults.

Special Sundays. On selected Sundays (Special Sundays) throughout the year, children participate in a special activity instead of attending regular classes. These activities might include seasonal crafts or other activity with a specific social action goal.

Children's Worship. Children's Worship is scheduled for the first Sunday of each month. On these days, children meet their teachers in their classrooms at 10:25, and then go with their teachers to a gathering of all classes of grades 1-6. At Children's Worship, children have an opportunity to experience the rituals of a group worship service that is especially tailored to children.

Potlucks. The RE committee hosts several potluck dinners during the year. All members of the congregation are welcome to attend. The Halloween Potluck is always a huge success, and attracts many ghosts, witches and goblins to play spooky games, share good food, and enjoy good company. Other potlucks provide children and church members with a great opportunity to play games, socialize, and show off their cooking skills.
